Chalet Clementine in La Tania nestles on the edge of the pine forest, just 50 metres from the green piste Plan Fontaine, and is about a five minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of La Tania.

The newly-refurbished Chalet Clementine in La Tania has a chic, contemporary chalet look with tan leather chairs, funky lighting and smart grey L-shaped sofas. French doors open onto the extended terrace and huge windows make the most of the fabulous mountain views without being overlooked by other chalets. The huge log burner makes a perfect centrepiece and ensures there’s a cosy glow on winter evenings.

You’ll find everything you’ll need to make your alpine retreat comfortable: WiFi and music, a flatscreen TV and games system. For those who prefer their entertainment more traditional, there’s a selection of classic board games – gather around the coffee table with a slice of homemade cake and a cuppa, and get competitive! Chalet holidays are all about relaxation: slipping into the hot tub after a day’s skiing makes you feel like new, ready for tomorrow’s adventures…

The chalet sleeps 12-14 guests in 6 bedrooms (two doubles, three twins and a quad bedroom with double/twin and bunks, sleeping four people). The upstairs bedrooms have sleek new bathroom fittings and smart new tiling which adds to the modern feel. It is possible to add cots to some rooms for babies.

For those arriving by car, you’ll find ample (and free!) parking close by in the car park.

Breakfast:

The smell of coffee in the morning will lure you to the breakfast table where you’ll find fresh baguettes, jams and butter alongside yoghurts, cereals, fruit juice and English tea.

A hearty cooked breakfast will set you up for the day, and if you want to keep on top of your 5-a-day, there’s a fruit bowl available – help yourself!

Lunchtime:

Lunch isn’t included (as you’ll be out on the slopes!) but if you’d like a packed lunch, then you can order this for a few euros and take it with you. Just ask your chalet host for details when you arrive.

Afternoon Tea:

After whizzing around the mountain all day, you’ll probably be famished and you’ll certainly deserve a treat!

When you get back from the slopes you’ll find fresh baguettes, butter and jams as well as homemade biscuits or cake accompanied by a proper cup of English tea or coffee. Everything will be laid out on the table ready and waiting for you to get stuck in (just make sure you leave enough for your chalet mates!).

Evening Meal:

Take a seat at the dining table and you’ll be served a delicious three-course meal. The atmosphere is like that of a dinner party, but none of the guests have to take turns to cook!

The chalet hosts will do all the hard work for you, and ensure you are well fed your 7-night stay. Unlimited wine is served through the meal, and you’ll finish with coffees and teas in the sitting room.

To Drink:

To accompany your meal, the chalet hosts have picked some lovely easy-drinking red and white wine, which is served throughout dinner.

The chalet has an honesty bar with beers and mixers/soft drinks as well as some snacks in case you feel peckish. You’re more than welcome to bring your own drinks and spirits into the chalet, via ‘Duty Free’ or the local supermarket.
