Chalet Husky in Montchavin La Plagne is in a simply great location. It’s right opposite the Evolution 2 shop (ideal for ski school and ski hire) and right by the ‘Les Coches’ cable car so very easy access to ski school meeting points.

It is a very short and easy stroll into the family-friendly resort centre of Montchavin with its shops, restaurants and bars.

There is secure underground car parking (2 spots) – so no need to spend all morning clearing snow off your car!

It is situated next to the ‘Les Coches’ bubble, and commands impressive views of the piste and Montchavin snow-front.

The Chalet Husky in Montchavin La Plagne is a stunning, stylish chalet in the same new-build development as several other chalets in Montchavin.

Using slate, timber and local stone, Chalet Husky has been artfully designed with contemporary fittings and fixtures to create a classy and extremely comfortable chalet home. The chalet is laid out over 4 floors, with 6 spacious bedrooms each with a wardrobe and twin beds that can be combined to make a double; a huge open-plan dining lounge area; a TV snug and a hot tub on the balcony, with truly fabulous views.

The outstanding feature of Chalet Husky is undoubtedly the amazing lounge-diner/kitchen on the top floor. The ceiling has been heightened to give a real feeling of space; the beautifully crafted wooden beams offer that essential alpine character of a ski chalet; and guests will be wowed by the views from the large dual-aspect windows (overlooking the piste in one direction and Mont Blanc in the other).

Guests can enjoy restaurant-quality food from the professional chef at the beautiful wooden dining table, and then retire to the comfortable sofas around the woodburner. Or pop through the balcony door to the outdoor hot tub, where they can sip a glass of bubbly whilst admiring the twinkling evening lights of Montchavin.

Breakfast:

Breakfast is plentiful, with a choice of cereals, croissants and breads, fruit yoghurts, porridge and a cooked option every day. Not just an egg slapped on your plate though – the hosts will serve a variety of sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, eggs done all ways throughout the week.

Afternoon Tea:

Afternoon tea is a tradition not to be missed after a long day on the slopes, and the hosts won’t disappoint with their freshly baked cake or biscuits, French baguettes and a selection of teas and filter coffee waiting on the table for your arrival. On colder days mulled wine may await you on your return!

Dinner:

Dinners are sumptuous 4-course affairs, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Why not start off the evening with an aperitif from the affordable honesty bar, before sitting down to a lovely dinner, ending with a selection of local cheeses to try, all accompanied by unlimited, bottled red and white wine at the table. Then retire to one of the many sofas to sleep it off – or maybe a nightcap from the bar, it’s up to you.

Sleeps 10 – 14 in 6 bedrooms (3 double/twin ensuites; 1 family room with a double/twin _ bunkbed) and 2 large bedrooms that share a bathroom.

Complimentary toiletries, cotton bedding, soft towels and bathrobes. Each room can be made up into a double or a twin.

Please note, we will only sell both these rooms to a single group that has agreed to sharing a bathroom. So if you book one of these rooms for 2 people, we will not sell the other room – so there will never be any untoward bathroom sharing!
