La Couchire is just across the road from the Fornet cable car.
Walking slowly, it takes precisely 75 seconds to go from the door of the chalet, down through its cavernous shared garage and across the road to the lift station.
The Michelin two-star Atelier d’Edmond restaurant is close by the chalet.
