Thomily tumbles rather elegantly down the snowy hillside.
Ski in/ski out above the Bellevarde/Solaise nursery slopes. 
The main village is twelve minutes walk across the nursery slopes or fifteen by road, the free Train Bleu bus stops just by the chalet.
From 5.30pm until 8.00pm  Land Rover shuttle runs from the Tourist Office to the door.

Thomily is quite unique.

One of the major joys of staying in Thomily is gazing through the arched window you can see below and pontificating on the polling prowess of passing poseurs.

For skiing, Thomily is excellent.

The dining room opens right onto the traverse back from such runs as the Epaule and Santons.

Proper breakfast- Fruit juice, porridge, cereals, bacon, eggs, baguettes straight from the famous local bakery, a croissant or pain au chocolat, yogurts, British tea and fresh coffee from Italian espresso pots.
You return from the slopes to find bread and jam, a freshly-baked cake, hot chocolate, etc. left out for you.
Dinner- the best cuts of meat and the best fresh fruit and vegetables.
Nightly canapés are followed by a three-course, fixed-menu, dinner-party-style meal.
The cuisine is largely French, though with a fusion of other influences.
With dinner, unlimited quantities of a selection of very drinkable French AOC wines and vins de pays.
Wine list from which you can buy everything from slightly smarter wines to Châteaux Lafite-Rothschild or d’Yquem.

Chalet has their front door at the top, their bedrooms below their sitting room, and a dining room practically on a ski run.
The top-floor sitting room is roomy and high, with huge windows and a wrap-around balcony giving wrap-around views of Bellevarde and the Charvet.
On the next level down are the five excellent bedrooms with their rather opulent marble bathrooms.
Three bedrooms have balconies with lovely views, while two have extra beds for up to four half-price children, or a maximum of two extra adults, all subject to flight seats.
The lowest floor is where the amazing dining room is.
Next to the dining room are the kitchen.
