Chef serves a refined “home-made” cuisine, creative and traditional, authentic and generous, using fresh Dauphiné region produce.
Chicken with crayfish, mi-cuit duck foie gras, homemade rosace de murson (a Dauphiné region sausage) with potatoes, Angus beef fillet steak, and of course, a selection of delicious regional cheeses.
A great wine selection, with over 50 wines, will perfectly complement your meal.

4-course evening meals with soup or starter, main course, cheese course and dessert .

Evening meals are a set menu but can be changed if you have food allergies or are a vegetarian.

Le Castillan, at the heart of the Alpe d’Huez and right by the ski slopes, offers two categories of room. South-facing Superior rooms and north-facing Standard rooms.
Superior rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, a balcony, and overlook the valley of Oisans and the Taillefer and Ecrins massifs.
Standard rooms overlook the Grandes Rousses massif and the village.

These rooms with balcony are ideal for a holiday or a business trip to the Alpe d’Huez. They face south, receive plenty of light, and enjoy magnificent views over the valley and the Oisans massif.

Standard rooms
These rooms face north and overlook the Grandes Rousses massif and the village. Please ask about connecting rooms for groups of 4-5 people.
