Chatel Skiing Holidays

Chatel skiing holidays are unbeatable; the hills are dotted with rustic chalets and the slopes offer more than you can take for a week.
Skiing is split into two sections – Super-Châtel Barbossine and Linga Pre-la-Joux – the former links to Torgon and Morgins in Switzerland, whilst the latter is on the French face taking you over to Avoriaz.
With an altitude of 1,191 m the ski conditions are just perfect during the ski season and the slopes well maintained to cater for all skiing abilities. The local slopes are especially great for beginners and intermediaries while advanced skiers have limitless options over to the Swiss face or Portes du Soleil.
In addition to awesome skiing experience, you’ll equally enjoy tons of great off the slopes activities from bowling, and sledging, to paragliding and a mountain laser show, you’ll not have a single dull day even if you crave for a break from the mountains.
Situated between the renowned Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva this chalet-style resort is a treasure trove that maintains the balance between traditional appeal and moderate nightlife. Though it’s generally a laid back village you’ll find a few bars and restaurants just enough for great night out.

Chatel skiing tourism has been growing for approximately seven decades and still improving but that hasn’t killed the authenticity of this French village. The locals are still farmers holding on to traditions passed from generations.
They still emphasize on the beauty of handmade crafts and you’ll find an array of shops offering fabulous items that you can buy as souvenir.
