The resort is linked with La Plagne (together they form Paradiski ski area) by Vanoise Express chairlift to give skiers access to a total of 425km of high-altitude, groomed and tree-lined, pistes.
It comprises of four different villages and each one of them oozes uniqueness, charm as well as a distinct style. They include; Arc 2000, Arcs 1950 (the newest in the resort), Arc 1800, and Arcs 1600 – the numbers pointing out the altitude of each village.

There is a good selection of wooded beginner runs and a great variety of blues to progress to. If you’re a seasoned skier and you wish to explore more challenging terrain you can venture further up into Aiguille Rouge for the 8km enlivening drop to Villaroger.
The resort enjoys a long ski season beginning around mid-December and lasting till April. Its altitude at 2000 metres plus some west-facing slopes guarantee reliable snow conditions year around.
For non-skiers, there are plenty of fun and engaging activities ranging from bowling, spa facilities, cinema and even skating.

Nearest Airport to Les Arcs
The nearest airport to Les Arcs is Chambéry with a transfer time of approximately 2 hours. Geneva Grenoble and Lyon are also nearby with a transfer time of 2 and a half hours.
If you’ll be using the train you might need to take roughly 30 minutes’ (depending on where you’ll be staying) bus ride from Bourg St Maurice town which is the nearest stop to the resort. You can also use the funicular to Arc 1600 then use the electric shuttle to navigate and weave through other villages.
If you’re driving yourself to Les Arc, you’ll need to pay between €70 and €88 per week depending on whether you settle for indoor or outdoor parking in the resort.
