Brown Bear Lodge in Montriond is located in a little hamlet 2 minutes walk from the centre of the village. It adjoins Morzine and offers easy access to Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes Du Soleil ski area via the Ardent telecabine which is a 4 minute drive away.

There is a complimentary in resort mini-bus service with morning drop offs until 10:30am and afternoon pick ups from 3pm until lift closing time, at either the Pleney or the Ardent telecabine. This means you have complete flexibility on where you want to ski. It also means no more trudging about in ski boots!

Avoriaz is a 30 minute drive away, but thanks to the drop off at the Ardent telecabine, you can access it via a direct blue run at the top of the lift. At the end of the day, ski back to the Ardent telecabine via a blue run, to the be picked up via the private minibus.

Montriond has a couple of lovely bars and restaurants and a ski hire shop which are a short walk from the chalet.

Brown Bear Lodge in Montriond has its own outdoor hot tub which sits on a beautiful sun terrace. There have been several improvements to modernise it over the years while still retaining the real cosy chalet feel.

It really is a very comfortable and spacious chalet, a truly special place for your winter holiday.

There are 2 lounge areas: one part of the open space with the dining area, and another seperate lounge/games room.

Breakfast consists of a daily cooked special, complemented by a buffet spread, including fruit juice, a selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, croissants and freshly baked bread.
Afternoon tea.
Dinner starts with canapes and an apertif.
Childrens meals are available.

The four rooms on the top floor all have balconies and are exceptionally spacious, the rooms can be made up as a triple with 3 single beds or as a king size double plus single.

The remaining rooms are twins/doubles; the single beds can be pushed together to make a superking double.

Complimentary Myddfai luxury toiletries are provided, as are hairdryers, towels and robes.
