Megeve’s only downside is its low altitude, standing at only 1100m which means at poor snow years conditions here aren’t in their best. However, this downside tags along the advantage of having more tree-lined slopes which are not only astounding but also means you don’t need to stop skiing in poor visibility.
Off the slopes, there are tons of options for non-skiers and people who want an extra plate after skiing. The street itself with stupendous horse-drawn carriages is a beautiful place to wander.
