Location – Chalet Arnaud in Les Arcs

Arc 1800 – One of the last remaining authentic mountain huts in the valley, Chalet Arnaud occupies a secluded spot on a picturesque hillside, the location as charming as the chalet itself.

Skiing can be accessed via a short walk, with the piste 520 metres (approx.) along the road and the Dahu Télécabine 450 metres (approx.) away, which accesses the Carreley chair and the heart of the Plan Vert area which is great for skiers of all abilities.

With the town centre and ski hire shop 1200 metres (approx.) away, accessible by 5 minute bus or by the télécabine, this really will feel like your own private mountain getaway, whilst being within easy reach of one of France’s most popular resorts.

The hillside location of this chalet means access is via a slope which can be snowy, so suitable footwear and easy-to-carry bags are recommended.

Description – Chalet Arnaud in Les Arcs

Whilst the interior of this authentic mountain hut (or ‘mazot’) is currently being refurbished for the 2017/18 season, the exterior remains as antique and charming as any in the resort.

As is the custom with alpine mazots of this kind the main entrance leads directly into an open-plan living and dining area, which has been sensitively refurbished in a traditional Savoyard style, complete with open fireplace.

The cozy living space is perfect for 6 to get warm and relax after a day exploring the immense Paradiski area. Stairs lead up to the three bedrooms on the first floor, all of which enjoy en suite facilities.

A hearty breakfast – Start your ski day with fresh bread, a choice of preserves, cereals, porridge (on request), yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice as well as tea and coffee, plus a cooked option of eggs and two other hot items. Hot items include bacon, sausages, hash browns, tomatoes, baked beans and mushrooms (or equivalent).
On your return from the slopes – A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits you.
In the evening – Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal with house wine until coffee for one night less than the duration of your holiday.
