Chalet Edelweiss in Les Coches is located just 200m from the piste in the centre of Les Coches. Chalet Edelweiss is just one lift away from the world famous Vanoise Express linking La Plagne and Les Arcs making it an ideal choice for keen skiers.

Beginners are well catered for as well, with a choice of two dedicated beginner’s areas and a longer “cool ski” run to progress onto.

Chalet Edelweiss in Les Coches is built using local wood and slate, Chalet Edelweiss is a stylish boutique property with modern luxury features including jacuzzi, sauna and games room.

At the end of the day, tuck into your delicious afternoon tea in the open plan lounge and dining room, or have a cold beer on the balcony with stunning panoramic views across the valley to Mont Blanc.

Breakfast:

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast. Begin by helping yourself from the continental choice of fresh French bread and croissants, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and juices which are all offered daily. Or why not go for the hot option? It changes daily but firm favourites with guests are crepes with caramelised banana, scrambled eggs with sauté mushrooms and bacon or how about some creamy porridge with a selection of toppings.

Afternoon Tea:

A ski holiday wouldn’t be complete without afternoon tea when you come back in from the slopes. Bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee and a freshly baked cake or tart is laid out ready for your return – all you have to do is put the kettle on!

Complimentary Bar:

There is a complimentary bar with beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee available for you to use. Fancy a beer after a hard day on the slopes, or a glass of wine before dinner? Please help yourselves.

4 Course Evening Meal:

A four-course evening meal with bottled wine – 5 nights a week

Dinner is a social affair. You’ll begin with cocktails and canapés in the spacious chalet lounge, followed by a freshly prepared four-course evening meal. The menu varies on a daily basis but the premise is simple – take good quality ingredients and modern recipes and combine them to create delicious home cooked food.

The final course each evening is a cheese course, giving you the opportunity to sample the local cheeses for which this region is famous. Each evening they’ll present a different cheese, telling you a bit about it and how it is made.

They’ll serve a choice of carefully selected red and white bottled wines to accompany the evening meal. The wines they serve are all French, chosen from a mixture of classic French grapes and some of the lesser known local varieties.

After dinner, relax in the lounge with a freshly-brewed coffee or play a game in front of the fire whilst the washing up is done for you.

The chalet has 8 spacious bedrooms each having modern en-suite bathrooms with shower and W.C.

Chalet Edelweiss sleeps up to 16 guests, or can be reserved in conjunction with its sister Chalet Flocon in Les Coches for groups of up to 32 people.
