The Chalet Gelinotte in Oz en Oisans Alpe d’Huez is very spacious chalet, located just 250 metres from the slopes in Oz-en-Oisans and the Alpette ski lift that quickly takes you up to the Alpe d’Huez-Grand Domaine ski area.

All amenities in Oz-en-Oisans are within walking distance of the chalet.

After a long day on the slopes, you can store your equipment in the ski storage room. Then relax and enjoy an afternoon tea before you dive into the sauna before dinner.

Chalet Gelinotte in Oz en Oisans Alpe d’Huez is ideal for large groups of up to 20 people. The large living room gives access to a spacious balcony with a phenomenal view of the opposite mountain range. In addition to the long tables for breakfast and dinner, there is a very spacious sitting area around the fireplace.

In the living room you will also find a flat-screen television, DVD player and Wii game console. From the open kitchen, the chalet managers provide breakfast, afternoon tea and a freshly prepared three-course dinner every day.

The chalet has 9 bedrooms spread over the 4 floors of the chalet. You will also find a wellness area with a sauna and jacuzzi downstairs. There is also space to store your skis.

Each bedroom has two single beds and a private bathroom with toilet and bath or shower. One bedroom has a sleeping alcove with bunk beds in addition to the two single beds and is therefore suitable for 4 people. The hosts make beds with a sheet and a comfortable duvet as standard. Extra blankets and pillows are also always available.

Breakfast

You’ll be offered a continental breakfast every day of your stay, consisting of different types of bread, crackers, cereals, sweet spreads, different types of cheese and cold cuts. In addition, there is yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit juices, milk, coffee and tea. Every day a breakfast special is served, such as scrambled eggs, croissants or pancakes.

Afternoon tea

Six out of seven days of your stay, there will be something tasty waiting for you when you return from the slopes! This can be sweet snacks, such as cake or pastries, or savory snacks, such as a slice of pizza or a snack platter. Something tasty to refuel!

Dinner

On six out of seven evenings, the hosts provide a fresh home-made three-course dinner. They work with a daily menu that is composed of the right balance to give all the energy for an active day on the slopes! They serve large portions. Enough for everyone!

Are there any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements? Please let us know. It is no problem to take this into account.

One day a week the chalet managers have a day off. There will be no dinner in the chalet this evening. The staff will be happy to advise and reserve a spot for you at a nice restaurant nearby. They know the area like no other.

Special kids menu

For children up to 11 years old, the hosts serve a delicious two-course dinner if desired. The children’s menu is served around 6PM. After the children have eaten and are in bed, you as parents can relax and enjoy dinner, which is served at 7.30PM. Of course, the times are an indication and can be changed if a different time suites you better.
