Chalet Lou Trave is a classically styled Alpine chalet, built of exposed stone and wood, and situated in the popular and peaceful Mussillon area, about 8-10 minutes’ walk from the resort centre and the focal point of La Chaudanne, where many ski lifts depart.

There is a ski bus service with a bus stop just 3 minutes’ walk from the chalet.

Buses depart throughout the day and evening and there are additional services at peak times so getting to and back from the slopes is easy.

With exposed timber beams, a terracotta-tiled floor, and a feature stone fireplace, the open-plan living and dining room is instantly welcoming and cosy. From here a sun terrace extends the area where guests can relax at any time of day, and a hot tub is also here for guests’ enjoyment.

Set across three floors, the eight bedrooms offer a good mix of twin or double rooms as well as a triple/quad bedroom, so the accommodation works well for families or mixed groups of friends. Most of the rooms on the second and third floor also have a balcony offering views of the scenic valley below, and some are particularly spacious and airy, thanks to the attractive high beamed ceilings.

To complete the appeal, there is a sauna on the ground floor of the property, as well as a ski and boot room with a heated boot rack.
