Chalet Matsuzaka is located approx. 200m from the new commercial centre, the new high-speed chair-lift in the Les Eucherts area of La Rosière 1850 and only 100m from the ski slopes
Skiing back to the chalet is possible from the Papillon piste. La Rosière 1850 itself is a short 10 min walk through the forest path or a 5 min hop in the free shuttle bus.

Chalet Matsuzaka has 10 bedrooms, all individually designed, south facing with balconies and unforgettable views across the valley. There are different room sizes, layouts and three styles to choose from.

Immerse yourself in a true Japanese Spa experience. With inside and outside hot pools of running water, watch as the last rays of sun disappear behind the mountains, the rose glow fades to darkness and allow the spirit to emerge refreshed, renewed and serene.

Chalet Matsuzaka “pine tree slope” is ran as a Japanese inn with a calm and zen atmosphere.

In line with new regulations chalet also operate a no smoking policy (smoking is permitted on balconies and terraces provided care and caution is taken).

In addition to all the usual expected comforts such as satellite television, tea & coffee making facilities etc, the rooms will also include other thoughtful features such as complimentary soft drinks & snacks, DVD player as well as broadband Internet access

Half-board includes:
Breakfast and afternoon tea every day
Dinner on 6 evenings (the restaurant is closed on Thursdays)

Hayashi Rooms
Two bedrooms in a Japanese “Washitsu” style with tatami inlays, shoji style curtains, bamboo parquet and decorations from Japan. One 2x90x200cm twin room (accessible for people with reduced mobility) and one king size double room.
Opposite the Matsuzaka Spa on the 1st floor, the two “Hayashi” (forest rooms) are 25m² and are equipped with a shower room with toilet and sink and south facing terraces (the twin has a limited view).

Savoyarde Rooms
Five typically mountain style bedrooms with a more generous living area with different configurations for two, three and up to a family of four. All double beds are king size.
Located on the 2nd floor, these five spacious Savoyard bedrooms (35m² – 45m²) all have south facing balconies with outstanding views. The large en-suite bathrooms are equipped with shower, bath and twin basins and a separate toilet room.

Mansarde Rooms
Three 3rd floor magnificent attic rooms taking full advantage of the height under the roof with beamed ceilings, large windows and large terrace balconies. South facing with exceptional 180°views over the valley from Ste Foy in the east, the Tignes barrage to La Plagne ski area to the west.
“Snowdon” n°8 – a double room with king size bed (40m²) for 2 adults.
“Ben Nevis” n°9 – a duplex suite with a king size double bedroom (45m²) with a separate mezzanine (12m²) with 2 single beds (90×200) for a further 2 children or 2 adults.
“Scafell Pike” n°10 – a very spacious suite (55m²) with a queen size double and a separate curtained off area “the den” for two or three small children (under 10s) with futon style beds (80×190).
All rooms are equipped with large bathrooms featuring whirlpool baths, large showers, twin stone basins and space to relax and unwind.
