Chalet Pisteside in Les Coches La Plagne is located in the village of Les Coches in Montchavin La Plagne, one of the 9 resorts that make up La Plagne. The chalet is only a single lift away from the Vanoise Express, the impressive cable car joining La Plagne with Les Arcs, making Chalet Pisteside perfectly situated to take full of advantage of the 425kms+ pistes that make up the “Paradiski.”

As the name suggests, Chalet Pisteside is right by the piste, so truly is ski-in, ski-out. You can put on your ski boots and ski down to the Plan Bois chairlift in Les Coches in a matter of minutes. From there, you can choose to ski to the Vanoise Express cable car to Les Arcs, or to take the Bijolin chairlift to get into La Plagne.

For beginners who can’t yet ski out from the chalet, a courtesy bus to the lift is offered in a minibus to ski school. Coming back is very easy – you just take a flat path all the way from the beginner slopes to the chalet – so easy, in fact, that all beginners can manage it.

Chalet Pisteside is about 50m from the nearest free car park, which is handy for anyone that wants to drive. It takes about 7 minutes to walk into Les Coches centre, with its bars, restaurants and shops.

The Chalet Pisteside in Les Coches La Plagne is an absolutely beautiful luxury ski-in/ski-out chalet in La Plagne; it offers everything you’d expect for a truly unforgettable ski holiday.

As you walk in past the heated bootwarmers, you can really see how wonderfully ski-in, ski-out the chalet really is – from the front door and dining room windows, you can actually see the chairlift going and people skiing down the piste.

It’s difficult not to be slightly awed by the fantastic views of Europe’s largest mountain, Mont Blanc, plain for all to see from the huge floor to ceiling windows in the lounge.

The four beautifully appointed bedrooms each have their own TV, and marble-lined ensuite bathrooms (all with bath & shower) with fluffy towels and bathrobes.

Guests can enjoy gourmet, professionally catered dining at the large dining table, or an aperitif in front of the roaring log fire. Plus everything else you’d expect from a top-end chalet holiday – free wifi, plenty of comfy sofas, books, DVDs and games. So much in fact, that you may find yourself wanting to stay in rather than go out skiing!

And outside, there’s a luxury hot tub with the most incredible views.

Breakfast:

Breakfast is plentiful, with a choice of cereals, croissants and breads, fruit yoghurts, porridge and a cooked option every day. Not just an egg slapped on your plate though – the hosts will serve a variety of sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, eggs done all ways throughout the week.

Afternoon Tea:

Afternoon tea is a tradition not to be missed after a long day on the slopes, and the hosts won’t disappoint with their freshly baked cake or biscuits, French baguettes and a selection of teas and filter coffee waiting on the table for your arrival. On colder days mulled wine may await you on your return!

Dinner:

Dinners are sumptuous 4-course affairs, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Why not start off the evening with an aperitif from the affordable honesty bar, before sitting down to a lovely dinner, ending with a selection of local cheeses to try, all accompanied by unlimited, bottled red and white wine at the table. Then retire to one of the many sofas to sleep it off – or maybe a nightcap from the bar, it’s up to you.
