The Chalet Tamara in La Tania is conveniently situated for both piste and village access. The chalet is set back from the road up a flight of steps.


The village centre and amenities are just a 5 minute walk away, and the nearest piste is just 150m away. A short ski down the La Tania telecabine and you quickly find yourself in the heart of the vast Three Valleys ski area.

Description – Chalet Tamara in La Tania

The Chalet Tamara in La Tania is a spacious, traditionally furnished catered chalet, Tamara sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 en-suite bedrooms. The chalet benefits from an open fire, boot room with heated boot warmers, and is well located just 150m from the nearest piste. There are 2 car parking places at the chalet, and ample parking in the free public car park just 50m away.


The ground floor of the chalet comprises the entrance hall and boot room with heated boot warmers. On the first floor there are three en-suite bedrooms (two twins and a double), along with the open plan living and dining area which has access to large, south-west facing terrace. On the second floor there are a further three en-suite bedrooms (two twins and a double).



Whether your holiday will involve first lifts and fresh tracks, or mid-morning starts and leisurely lunches, the chalet hosts will be up and about working hard to get your day off to the best possible start. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast with a choice of cereals, porridge and muesli, accompanied by yoghurt and fresh French bread with butters and jam. They also offer a hot option everyday day apart from chalet day off and departure day. More than enough to keep you going until lunchtime.

Afternoon Tea:

Every day, including chalet day off, you’ll return to the chalet after skiing to find a delicious afternoon tea waiting for you. You’ll be able to put up your feet and tuck into a range of teas, freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate, fresh bread and butter, jams and chocolate spread, plus the freshly baked cake of the day.

Evening Meal:

Every evening before dinner you can enjoy a glass of kir or wine and some canapes. You’ll then sit down to a delicious three course meal, accompanied by a choice of four carefully selected bottled wines. One night during the week, a cheeseboard of local cheeses will be served after dessert. Finally, you can finish off the evening with coffee.

Children’s Meals:

The chalet hosts provide children under 12 an early dinner at around 5.30 – 6pm, and serve up a special menu of healthy, nutritious and child friendly meals. Please advise of any likes, dislikes and dietary requirements prior to your arrival in resort to make sure your little ones are well fueled for a week on the mountain. If you have booked the whole chalet, children under 12 are welcome to eat at the same time as the adults if they are happy to eat from the adult menu.

Chalet Hosts Day Off:

Your chalet hosts will have one day off per week and this is the ideal opportunity to try out one of the superb local restaurants. Continental options and pastries will be provided for breakfast on day off, as will afternoon tea.

Christmas & New Year:

If you are lucky enough to be staying at Christmas or New Year you can rest assured the chalet hosts will be celebrating the festive season appropriately. Chalets are adorned with Christmas tress and decorations. On Christmas day, the chalet hosts will be serving mince pies, a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding or alternative.
