The Hotel des 3 Vallées Courchevel is one of the oldest establishments in Courchevel 1850 and represents the very roots of a pioneering mountain resort, when it hosted its first skiers in 1947.
Firmly drawing the line under outdated luxury clichés, the 2013 refurbishment of this contemporary inn regenerated the grand days of this mountain sanctuary, reflecting a desire to differentiate itself in style.
A talented and enlightened antiques purveyor, who also drew inspiration from the pioneers of architecture and design, marked a return to source.
The entire hotel is an tribute to the 1950s with emblematic pieces by Pierre Paulin, Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Pierre Guarriche… These trailblazers who invented the mountain lifestyle environment and who, today, make L’Hôtel des Trois Vallées the only hotel of its kind in the resort with the elegant combination of an innkeeper’s generosity and a return to simplicity.
The property offers a large spa with a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, spa treatments, a delicatessen shop and a ski shop.
The Hôtel des 3 Vallées kitchen makes simple, cheerful recipes with a focus on local produce and regional growers.
The seasonal fare creates a clear, accessible menu with real local flavour, exemplified by dishes such as Monsieur Michaud’s soup, croque-monsieur with air-dried beef, Rodolphe Paquin’s country terrine, Savoy-style hotpot, cheeses from La Cave d’Affinage de Savoie and Tart of the Day.
