Based at the foot of the Jardin Alpin slope, the Hotel Le New Solarium is a wonderful hotel that’s designed to offer a truly remarkable stay.

A three star accommodation, for over five years the hotel has held the organism certified label of ‘travelife’. The entire team at Hotel Lew New Solarium put immense effort into this part of their offering, encouraging and promoting a truly environmentally-friendly approach to hotel life.

Given its position in Courchevel, there’s not a great deal you’ll be left wanting for! Over 150km of skiing for all abilities, adults and children alike? Check. Fantastic forests and magical mountainous surroundings? Check. Rooms that are perfectly equipped for all your needs? Check!

Spa Facilities

As with all the great hotels in Courchevel, Hotel Le New Solarium has extensive well-being facilities. Featuring an indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, hammam and spa, whatever you want, need or expect, you’ll find it. Whilst the spa services naturally bring with them some additional charges, the pool, gym, sauna and hammam are all free of charge to guests, and are generally open from 10am to 8pm.

Hotel Le New Solarium Courchevel is one of those hotels that just ticks all the boxes. It features everything you’ll need to enjoy your ski holiday – and more! – and you’ll soon find you become not just a guest to the entire team, but a friend.

The Restaurant in the New Solarium Hotel provides your half board meals in an elegant and comfortable setting. It has a superb panoramic view of the surrounding forest, which will captivate you by its enjoyable and authentic atmosphere.

The setting and delicious dishes go hand in hand – the traditional French cuisine will satisfy all tastes.

During your half-board stay, dinner is made up of 5 wonderful courses: soup, starter, fish or meat, cheeses and dessert buffet.

The hotel also offers a Savoyard night once a week (no extra charge) for you to discover and enjoy the local cuisine, and all its flavours.

There is a plentiful and quality breakfast buffet available between 8am and 10am daily. Snacks are available between 11am and 10pm in Bar. (Sandwich, Panini, Hot dog, Crepe, Waffle…)

On the latter, there are 70 rooms available at Hotel Le New Solarium Courchevel 1850, spread over seven floors in the Savoyard chalet – and importantly, they all have first-class views of the stunning Courchevel region.

Divided into four separate styles, primarily ‘standard’ and ‘family’ (there’s also ‘medium’ and ‘superior’ options) – the rooms generally range from between 17 and 20sqm for standard and 27 and 32sqm for a family room. They all feature everything you’d expect, from hair dryers and bathrobes through to flat screen TVs and safes.

Importantly, the family rooms are based on the ground floor and seventh floor, and have their own living areas with a sofa bed (in addition to the double / two singles in the bedroom). Plus, the hotel actively helps to ensure any stay with children is as easy and enjoyable as it can be. The special services in the bar area for three to 12 year olds is particularly welcomed!

Available to book on either a self catering or half board basis, doing the latter means you get to sample some fantastic local and traditional food on-site (dinner is five courses as standard!) – and for everyone, the relaxed bar area is superb, featuring a south-facing solarium terrace that has breathtaking views of those magical mountains.
