If location is a factor, then Chalet Chamois Volant in Les Deux Alpes will be a viable option. it’s ideally situated close to the centre of the resort and near the foot of the mountain with the chairlift barely 250 metres away.
The chalet has the capacity to accommodate between 14 and 17 people which makes it a great choice for a huge group of friends or family. The rooms are well-appointed plus fantastically decorated with rustic furniture and traditional finishing.
Chalet Alice in Les Deux Alpes is another great alternative. This contemporary chalet ticks all the boxes; from central location in the resort to split interior section to allow more privacy.
The walk to the Jandri Express ski lift is approximately 5 minutes and you can almost ski right back to the chalet when you’re done with the slopes. There is also a sauna where you can soothe your sore muscles after a tiring day on the mountain.
Les Deux Alpes Ski Holidays
With modern efficient ski lift system, south-facing slopes that guarantees lots of sunshine and the extensive ski terrain, Les Deux ski holidays are unbeatable. The resort is purpose-built which means it offers convenience and easy access to the runs.
With over 200km of groomed slopes, there are tons of beginner-friendly runs, Les Gentianes and *-Les Vikings being the perfect examples but the intermediaries and seasoned skiers are better catered for with 63 out of the 93 slopes rated blue or red.
You’ll find enough gentle blue runs plus nursery slopes at the top of the mountain, on and around the glacier.
The high altitude of the resort (at 1650 metres) coupled with the glacier almost guarantees excellent snow conditions and means the resort can remain open for longer.
Off the mountain, Venosc village which is located just under the resort and linked by a gondola creates a great contrast with an authentic feel of a traditional French hub making it a great place to hang out at dusk.
